After leaving school in 1964 Johann Kruger began his career in Interior Decorating, Art, Painting and Design.

His experience in this field led him into related design areas, specialising in architectural model building and exhibition and show stand design at Theo Steyn Models in Pretoria.

He experimented with the concept of Sound and Slide projection on frosted glass as a way to get more pictures on a small wall in show-stands.

This led to meeting with Wolgang Durksen and the acquisition of  "Multi Slide Productions" the first ELECTROSONC system in South Africa.
